Rings were hot and crisp, so I didn't get to the burger immediately. Ranch was the side I chose, I wasn't fond of it at all. The rings, well I had to make myself stop so the burger wouldn't get cold. My first bite was awesome, I'm sure I made a satisfied groaning noise. Once started, though, the burger is hard to put down. Eat; either on a few sidewalk tables, sidewalk counter, or inside seating. It's worth the stop! ”

It seems like this location is mainly a takeaway spot, but there is some limited seating inside and just outside. I was lucky to find a table inside to enjoy my lunch. They also have sandwiches, hot dogs, plenty of add-ons, and more sides than just regular fries. They make it far too easy for repeat visits. ”

The burger landscape in Los Angeles is robust and bountiful. Irv's is often on the top or near the top of many burger lists. My biggest burger regret is that it took me a long time to actually go and try them out. They've been open and serving their amazing burgers for a long time. The burger was fantastic. It was high quality beef, meaty with a lot of flavor and expertly cooked. The cheese was melty and balanced the beefy flavors. I always like getting a burger the way the restaurant recommends it, and their style is a classic combo. I think the Irv's sauce is based on Thousand Island dressing. It was perfect. They go with crispy, thin fries, and they serve a big basket. Of course I ate everything I ordered. How could I not when everything is this good! I went on a Sunday and found street parking. This location may get tricky for parking other times of the day or week since it's in a busy spot for restaurants and bars. ”
